guile-pg software package provides Guile bindings for the PostgreSQL client library, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install guile-pg
guile-pg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the guile-pg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep guile-pg *
You will get with guile-pg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
